The Chelsea 489 Series power take-off assembly, part number 489XLITX-A3XQ or 489XLITXA3XQ, bolts directly to 8-bolt transmission openings on Eaton Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other compatible manual transmissions without an adapter plate, removing a common leak path. The one-piece cast iron housing delivers the same intermittent torque capacity as the 442 Series. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. The 1-1/4" round output shaft (with key) is driven by tapered bearings rather than needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability. Output power reaches 48 HP at 1,000 RPM.
