The Chelsea 489XLITX-A5XD or 489XLITXA5XD is a 489 Series Power Take-Off assembly designed for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO mounting aperture, including Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other compatible transmissions. The one-piece cast iron housing mounts directly to the 8-bolt opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with key. Intermittent torque for the 489 Series is 201-300 lb-ft (check application pages for actual torque ratings). Shaft power is 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1000 RPM. Internal parts are common to the Chelsea 442 Series. Call us to confirm proper fit for your application.
