The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XQAHX-S5XQ or 489XQAHXS5XQ, mounts directly to 8-bolt transmission openings on Eaton Fuller, Mack, Tremec, and other compatible manual transmissions. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, removing a common leak path. This unit uses a wire/cable mechanical shift and delivers an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm), with shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1000 RPM. The 1-1/4" round output shaft is available with a key. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for improved load-bearing capability. Internal parts share commonality with the Chelsea 442 Series.
