The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XQAHX-W6XD or 489XQAHXW6XD, mounts directly to 8-bolt manual transmission openings on Eaton Fuller, Volvo/Mack, Tremec, and other compatible transmissions. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, removing a potential leak path. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. The 1-1/4" round output shaft with key delivers up to 48 HP at 1,000 RPM, with intermittent torque capacity in the 201-300 lb-ft range. The 489 Series shares internal parts with the Chelsea 442 Series and uses tapered bearings in place of needle bearings for increased load-carrying ability.
