The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XQAHX-U5XQ or 489XQAHXU5XQ, is an 8-bolt mount PTO designed for manual transmissions including Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec applications. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. Output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with keyway. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. Intermittent torque rating for the 489 Series is 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm); shaft power is 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Internal components are shared with the Chelsea 442 Series.
