The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XQAHX-V3AF or 489XQAHXV3AF, mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening on manual transmissions including Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, removing a common leak path. Wire/cable mechanical shift is standard on this unit; an electric-over-air shift option is also available within the 489 Series. Output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with key. Intermittent torque rating for the 489 Series is 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm), with shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1000 RPM. Internal parts are common to the Chelsea 442 Series.
