The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XQAHX-V3XY or 489XQAHXV3XY, mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and others. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, removing a common leak path. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. The 1-1/4" round output shaft with keyway delivers up to 48 HP at 1,000 RPM, with an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft for the series. Tapered output bearings replace the needle bearings found in earlier designs for greater load capacity.
