The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XQITX-H3AZ or 489XQITXH3AZ, is a wire/cable mechanical shift PTO built around an 8-bolt one-piece cast iron housing that bolts directly to the transmission opening without an adapter plate, removing a potential leak path. The 489 Series carries the same intermittent torque capacity as the Chelsea 442 Series at 250 lb-ft (339 Nm), and delivers 24 HP at 500 RPM or 48 HP at 1,000 RPM through a 1-1/4" round output shaft. Strong tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability. Fits manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO aperture, including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec.
