The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XRAHX-S5XK or 489XRAHXS5XK, is an 8-bolt PTO assembly built for manual transmissions including Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec units. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. Shift type is wire/cable mechanical. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with key. Intermittent torque for the 489 Series is 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm); shaft power is rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM.
