The Chelsea 489XRAHX-V3XQ or 489XRAHXV3XQ is a 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly built for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO mounting opening, including Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec applications. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission without an adapter plate, removing a potential leak path. This unit uses a wire/cable mechanical shift and features a 1-1/4" round output shaft with keyway. The 489 Series delivers the same intermittent torque capacity as the 442 Series (250 lb-ft / 339 Nm per application pages) and uses strong tapered bearings in place of needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability.
