The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XRAHX-W6XK or 489XRAHXW6XK, is an 8-bolt mount PTO designed for manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec. The integral one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. Shift type is wire/cable mechanical. The 1-1/4" round output shaft accepts a key. Output power ranges from 46 to 55 HP (31 to 40 kW), with shaft power rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Intermittent torque is rated at 201 to 300 lb-ft (301 to 400 Nm) for the series; check application pages for the actual torque rating for your installation.
