The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XRITX-W5XD or 489XRITXW5XD, is an 8-bolt PTO assembly designed for manual transmissions including Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec units. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. Output is delivered through a 1-1/4" round shaft with key, rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Intermittent torque capacity for the 489 Series is 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm).
