The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XRITX-A5RA or 489XRITXA5RA, mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening on most manual transmissions, including Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec units. Its one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, removing a potential leak path at the mounting face. Output is through a 1-1/4" round shaft with keyway. Shift actuation is wire/cable mechanical. The 489 Series shares internal components with the 442 Series and delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range.
