The Chelsea 489XSAHX-A3RA or 489XSAHXA3RA is a 489 Series power take-off assembly built for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO opening, including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec applications. The one-piece cast iron housing mounts directly to the transmission without an adapter plate, removing a potential leak path. Shift is air shift. Output is a rotatable SAE B 2-bolt flange with a 7/8" 13-tooth SAE B shaft. The 489 Series delivers the same intermittent torque capacity as the 442 Series, with tapered bearings instead of needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability.
