The Chelsea 489XSAHX-W3XK or 489XSAHXW3XK is a 489 Series power take-off assembly built for Eaton/Fuller and Volvo/Mack transmissions, as well as other compatible applications. It mounts via an 8-bolt pattern and uses wire/cable mechanical shift actuation. Output is through a 1-1/4" round shaft (keyed option available), with intermittent torque rated up to 250 lb-ft (339 Nm). Shaft power measures 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Internal parts are common to the Chelsea 442 Series, simplifying sourcing for shops that already stock 442 components. The kit-style construction makes field service straightforward.
