The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XSAHX-A5RF or 489XSAHXA5RF, is a wire/cable mechanical shift PTO built for 8-bolt manual transmission openings. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission without an adapter plate, eliminating an extra potential leak path. The 489 Series carries the same intermittent torque rating as the Chelsea 442 Series (250 lb-ft), and the output shaft is a 1-1/4" round configuration. Shaft power output runs 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Compatible transmissions include Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and others with an 8-bolt PTO aperture.
