The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XUDUX-A3RA or 489XUDUXA3RA, is an air shift PTO built around a one-piece cast iron housing that mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening on most manual transmissions, including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec. The integral housing eliminates the adapter plate, removing a potential leak path. Output is a rotatable SAE B 2-bolt flange with a 7/8" 13-tooth SAE B shaft. The 489 Series delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range and shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM or 48 HP at 1000 RPM. Internal components are common with the Chelsea 442 Series.
