The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XUITX-A5XK or 489XUITXA5XK, is an 8-bolt PTO designed to bolt directly to manual transmissions from Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other compatible manufacturers. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, removing a potential leak path and cutting mounting time. This unit uses tapered bearings rather than needle bearings for greater load capacity. The 489 Series shares internal parts with the Chelsea 442 Series and delivers up to 250 lb-ft intermittent torque, with shaft power rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM.
