The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XWAHX-A3XQ or 489XWAHXA3XQ, mounts directly to 8-bolt transmission openings on Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other compatible manual transmissions without an adapter plate. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the adapter plate leak path and delivers the same intermittent torque capacity as the 442 Series. Output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with key. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. Shaft power output reaches 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Internal parts are shared with the 442 Series, and the tapered bearing design handles greater radial loads than needle-bearing alternatives.
