The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XWAHX-A5XK or 489XWAHXA5XK, mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening without an adapter plate, eliminating a common leak path. The one-piece cast iron housing delivers the same intermittent torque capacity as the 442 Series. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. The 1-1/4" round output shaft accepts a key. Shaft power runs 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM, with output power in the 46-55 HP range. Compatible transmissions include Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and others with an 8-bolt PTO aperture.
