The Chelsea 489XWITX-W3XD or 489XWITXW3XD is a 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly built for 8-bolt manual transmission openings on Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec applications. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission without an adapter plate, removing a potential leak path. This unit delivers up to 250 lb-ft intermittent torque and shares internal parts with the 442 Series. Shift actuation is wire/cable mechanical. Output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with key. At 500 RPM the shaft delivers 24 HP; at 1,000 RPM, 48 HP. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for increased load-bearing capability.
