The Chelsea 489XXITX-A3RB or 489XXITXA3RB is a 489 Series power take-off assembly built for 8-bolt manual transmission openings found on Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other compatible transmissions. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission face, eliminating the adapter plate that creates a potential leak path on other designs. Output is rated at 46-55 HP intermittently, with shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Intermittent torque for the 489 Series runs 201-300 lb-ft. The shift mechanism on this configuration is wire/cable mechanical. The 1-1/4" round output shaft accepts a keyed connection.
