The Chelsea 489XXITX-H5XK or 489XXITXH5XK is a 489 Series Power Take-Off assembly designed for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO mounting aperture, including Eaton Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec applications. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. Output is through a 1-1/4" round shaft with key. Shift actuation is wire/cable mechanical, with an electric-over-air shift option also available in the 489 Series. The series carries an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft and shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1000 RPM. Internal parts are common to the Chelsea 442 Series.
