489ZADAX-W5XD Chelsea PTO Assembly

The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489ZADAX-W5XD or 489ZADAXW5XD, is a one-piece cast iron PTO that mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec. The integral 8-bolt housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, reducing potential leak paths. This unit shifts via wire/cable mechanical actuation and delivers 46-55 HP output, with shaft power rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1000 RPM. The 1-1/4" round output shaft accepts a key. Internal parts are common to the Chelsea 442 Series, and the 489 uses tapered bearings rather than needle bearings for increased load-bearing capacity.
