The Chelsea 489ZFDAX-A3XD or 489ZFDAXA3XD is a 489 Series Power Take-Off assembly designed for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO mounting aperture, including Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other compatible applications. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. This unit uses a wire/cable mechanical shift and delivers 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM via a 1-1/4" round output shaft with key. Intermittent torque rating for the 489 Series is 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm). Strong tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability.
