The Chelsea 489ZFDAX-A5SQ or 489ZFDAXA5SQ is a 489 Series Power Take-Off assembly designed for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO mounting aperture, including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec gearboxes. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. Intermittent torque capacity for the 489 Series is 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm), matching the torque capacity of the 442 Series. Shaft power output is 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round configuration with key. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. Strong tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability.
