The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off 489ZFDAX-A5XDK or 489ZFDAXA5XDK is a wire/cable mechanical shift PTO built for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt mounting aperture, including Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec applications. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. Output is through a 1-1/4" round shaft with key, rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Intermittent torque capacity for the 489 Series runs 201-300 lb-ft. Internal parts are common to the Chelsea 442 Series, and the kit-style design simplifies service. An electric-over-air shift option is available within the series.
