The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489ZFDAX-V5XQ or 489ZFDAXV5XQ, mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and others. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, which removes a potential leak path and reduces installation time. Shift actuation is wire/cable mechanical. The 1-1/4" round output shaft delivers up to 48 HP at 1,000 RPM, and intermittent torque for the 489 Series is rated at 201-300 lb-ft. Internal parts are shared with the Chelsea 442 Series.
