The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489ZFDAX-W5GK or 489ZFDAXW5GK, mounts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening on most manual transmissions, including Eaton Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other compatible units. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, removing a potential leak path compared to bolt-on adapter designs. Output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with key. Shift type is wire/cable mechanical. The 489 Series delivers the same intermittent torque capacity as the 442 Series at 250 lb-ft (339 Nm), and uses tapered bearings rather than needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability.
