The Chelsea 489 Series PTO Assembly, part number 489ZHDAX-A5RE or 489ZHDAXA5RE, mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening on manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec applications. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, reducing potential leak paths and cutting installation time. The 489 Series delivers 250 lb-ft intermittent torque, matching the capacity of the Chelsea 442 Series, and delivers 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1000 RPM. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability. Shift is accomplished via wire/cable mechanical mechanism. Output is a 1-1/4" round shaft with key.
