The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489ZHDAX-V3XK or 489ZHDAXV3XK, is an 8-bolt PTO assembly designed to mount directly to manual transmissions from Eaton Fuller, Volvo, Mack, and other compatible manufacturers. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts to the 8-bolt transmission opening without an adapter plate, eliminating a potential leak path. This unit uses a wire/cable mechanical shift and delivers shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM, with an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft for the series. The 1-1/4" round output shaft is available with or without a key. Internal parts are common to Chelsea's 442 Series, and the kit-style design simplifies service work.
