The Chelsea 489ZHDAX-A6RA or 489ZHDAXA6RA is an 8-bolt power take-off assembly from Chelsea's 489 Series, built to mount directly to manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec without an adapter plate. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the adapter plate leak path common on older designs. Intermittent torque capacity for the 489 Series runs 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm), with shaft power rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Output is through a 1-1/4" round shaft with key.
