The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489ZLCRX-W4XD or 489ZLCRXW4XD, mounts directly to 8-bolt manual transmission openings on Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other compatible transmissions. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts straight to the transmission without an adapter plate, eliminating a potential leak path. This unit uses a wire/cable mechanical shift and carries an intermittent torque rating of 250 lb-ft (339 Nm) for the 489 Series. Output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with key. Shaft power delivers 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Strong tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load capacity. Internal parts share commonality with the Chelsea 442 Series.
