The Chelsea 489ZLDAX-P5AF or 489ZLDAXP5AF is a 489 Series Power Take-Off assembly designed for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO mounting opening. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission without an adapter plate, cutting potential leak paths and reducing installation time. Shift actuation is wire/cable mechanical. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round shaft with key. The 489 Series carries an intermittent torque rating of 250 lb-ft (339 Nm); check application pages for the actual continuous rating. Compatible transmission manufacturers include Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and others. This unit uses pressure lube ("P" suffix) and shares internal components with the Chelsea 442 Series.
