The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489ZLDAX-V3XK or 489ZLDAXV3XK, mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening using a one-piece cast iron housing that eliminates the need for an adapter plate, reducing both installation time and potential leak paths. The 489 Series carries an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm) and delivers shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round shaft with key. Shift is accomplished via wire/cable mechanical actuation. Compatible transmissions include Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec units with an 8-bolt PTO aperture. Internal components are common to the Chelsea 442 Series.
