The Chelsea 489ZLDAX-V5XQ or 489ZLDAXV5XQ is a 489 Series Power Take-Off assembly built for 8-bolt manual transmission openings on Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other compatible transmissions. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission face, eliminating the adapter plate used on some other configurations and reducing potential leak paths. Shift is air shift. The output shaft is a 7/8" 13-tooth SAE B shaft on an SAE B 2 or 4-bolt flange, rotated 90 degrees. Intermittent torque capacity for the 489 Series is 250 lb-ft (339 Nm); shaft power runs 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM, with output power in the 46-55 HP range.
