The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489GHAHX-V5XQ or 489GHAHXV5XQ, is a wire/cable mechanical shift PTO built for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt mounting aperture, including Eaton Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other compatible units. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt opening, eliminating the adapter plate that conventional designs require and reducing potential leak paths. Intermittent torque capacity for the 489 Series is 250 lb-ft (339 Nm), matching the 442 Series rating. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round configuration. Shaft power output is 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Strong tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability.
