The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489ZSDAX-A5XK or 489ZSDAXA5XK, is an 8-bolt direct-mount PTO designed for manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Volvo, and Mack applications. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. Wire/cable mechanical shift and electric-over-air shift configurations are available within the series. Output is through a 1-1/4" round shaft with key, with shaft power rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Intermittent torque capacity for the 489 Series is 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm).
