The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489ZUDAX-A5XK or 489ZUDAXA5XK, is an 8-bolt PTO built for most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the adapter plate and its associated leak path. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. The 1-1/4" round output shaft with key delivers intermittent torque in the 250 lb-ft range and shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM or 48 HP at 1000 RPM. Strong tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load capacity. Internal parts are common to the Chelsea 442 Series, keeping service options broad.
