The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489ZUITX-A5XD or 489ZUITXA5XD, is a wire/cable mechanical shift PTO built for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO aperture, including Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec applications. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission opening, eliminating the adapter plate and its associated leak path. Output is via a 1-1/4" round shaft with key option. Intermittent torque capacity for the 489 Series is 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm), with shaft power rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Internal parts are common to the Chelsea 442 Series.
