The Chelsea 871 Series Power Take-Off (part number 871LEFJW-B5TY or 871LEFJWB5TY) is a compact 10-bolt, hydraulic PowerShift PTO designed for Allison transmission applications. The 871 Series delivers continuous-duty torque capacity up to 670 lb-ft (908 N-m) across nine speed ratios, with thirteen output configurations to cover a wide range of installation requirements. A ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap address the vibrational stresses of modern engine designs. Optional features include Wet Spline pump flange, SmartStart shock-load reduction, Quiet Gear input, and Electronic Overspeed Control (EOC). Common applications include fire and rescue, truck cranes, pumper cleaners, and refuse vehicles. The 871 Series replaces the Chelsea 870 Series PTO.
