The Chelsea 871 Series Power Take-Off, part number 871XBFJR-D5RY or 871XBFJRD5RY, is a 10-bolt PowerShift (hydraulic) PTO designed for Allison transmissions. The 871 Series carries a continuous torque rating of up to 670 lb-ft (908 N-m) with no derating required for continuous-duty use. Nine available speed ratios and thirteen output configurations give technicians broad flexibility across fire and rescue, refuse, truck crane, and pumper-cleaner applications. The ductile iron bearing cap is 117% stronger than gray iron, and an o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap reduces vibrational effects while improving clamp load. Wet Spline, SmartStart, and Quiet Gear options are all available on this series. The 871 Series replaces the earlier Chelsea 870 Series PTO.
