The Chelsea 871XCFJW-D5RY or 871XCFJWD5RY is a 10-bolt PowerShift (hydraulic) Power Take-Off from the Chelsea 871 Series, designed for Allison transmissions. The 871 Series delivers continuous-duty torque capacity up to 670 lb-ft (908 N-m) with no derating required for continuous operation. Nine speed ratios and thirteen output options give this unit flexibility across a wide range of vocational applications including fire and rescue, refuse, truck cranes, and pumper-cleaner trucks. The ductile iron bearing cap is 117% stronger than gray iron, and the o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap improves clamp load while reducing the vibrational effects of modern engine designs. The compact housing height reduces installation clearance concerns. The 871 Series is the only Chelsea PTO to offer Wet Spline, SmartStart, and Quiet Gear options together.
