The Chelsea 871XCKVP-B5RS or 871XCKVPB5RS is a 10-bolt PowerShift (hydraulic-shift) Power Take-Off from the 871 Series, designed for Allison transmission applications in demanding vocations including fire and rescue, refuse, truck cranes, and pumper-cleaner trucks. The 871 Series carries a continuous torque rating of up to 670 lb-ft (908 N-m) with no derating required for continuous-duty operation. Nine speed ratios and thirteen output configurations cover a wide range of hydraulic pump requirements. This unit incorporates a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap to reduce vibrational effects and improve clamp load, and wet-spline lubrication to extend PTO and pump shaft service life.
