The Chelsea 871 Series Power Take-Off, part number 871XDFJP-D3XV or 871XDFJPD3XV, is a 10-bolt PowerShift (hydraulic) PTO designed for Allison-transmission applications. The 871 Series delivers continuous torque capacity up to 670 lb-ft (908 N-m) with no derating required for continuous-duty use. Nine speed ratios and thirteen output options cover a wide range of vocational needs, from fire and rescue pumper units to refuse trucks and truck cranes. Chelsea upgraded this series over the predecessor 870 Series with a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap for improved clamp load, and an optional Wet Spline pump flange to extend PTO and pump shaft service life.
