Additional Information

The 871 Series is the only Chelsea PTO to offer all three of Chelsea's high-demand options together: Wet Spline, SmartStart, and Quiet Gear. Wet Spline lubrication extends pump flange and output shaft service life. SmartStart reduces shock load during engagement, which is especially valuable in refuse and fire apparatus applications. Electronic Overspeed Control (EOC) provides a layer of protection for driven equipment. The compact housing design reduces clearance concerns during installation, and the multiple assembly arrangements give installers flexibility in tight chassis environments. Typical markets include fire and rescue apparatus, truck cranes, pumper cleaners, and refuse vehicles.
