281GMKVP-B5XV Chelsea PTO Assembly

The Chelsea 281 Series Power Take-Off, part number 281GMKVP-B5XV or 281GMKVPB5XV, is a hydraulically shifted hot-shift PTO built for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, commonly used with Allison transmissions. Evolved from the proven 280 Series, the 281 brings a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an o-ring sealing configuration for improved clamp load, and clutch-pack steel discs that are 80% thicker to resist premature tooth wear. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high speed demands. Rotatable cast-iron flanges reduce interference at the pump, and the Wet Spline Lubrication option extends shaft life by 7 to 10 times.
