The Chelsea 871 Series Power Take-Off, part number 871XEFJP-B5AB or 871XEFJPB5AB, is a 10-bolt PowerShift (hydraulic shift) PTO designed for Allison transmissions. The 871 Series carries a continuous torque rating of up to 670 lb-ft (908 N-m) with no derating required for continuous-duty applications. Nine speed ratios and thirteen output configurations give installers broad flexibility across fire and rescue, refuse, pumper/cleaner, and truck crane applications. The ductile iron bearing cap is 117% stronger than gray iron, and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap reduces the damaging vibrational effects of modern engine designs. Options include Wet Spline pump flange, SmartStart, and Quiet Gear input. The 871 Series is the only Chelsea PTO to offer all three of these solutions.
