The Chelsea 871 Series succeeds the 870 Series PTO and is the only Chelsea PTO to offer all three of Chelsea's high-demand options in a single platform: Wet Spline, SmartStart, and Quiet Gear. Wet Spline lubrication extends the service life of both the PTO and the pump shaft. SmartStart reduces shock load at start-up in applications where that is a concern. Quiet Gear input reduces gear noise for operator-sensitive environments. Electronic Overspeed Control (EOC) safeguards driven equipment from overspeed damage.
