The Chelsea 871XEFJP-G3XV or 871XEFJPG3XV is a 10-bolt PowerShift (hydraulic shift) Power Take-Off from the Chelsea 871 Series, designed for Allison transmission applications. The 871 Series carries a continuous torque rating up to 670 lb-ft (908 N-m) with no derating required for continuous duty, making it a practical choice for demanding vocational work including fire and rescue, refuse, truck cranes, and pumper cleaner equipment. Nine speed ratios and thirteen output options give this series broad application flexibility. The ductile iron bearing cap is 117% stronger than gray iron, and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap reduces vibrational effects and improves clamp load. Optional Wet Spline, SmartStart, and Quiet Gear configurations are available within the 871 Series. The 871 Series replaces the earlier Chelsea 870 Series PTO.
