The Chelsea 871 Series Power Take-Off, part number 871XEFJP-G5RY or 871XEFJPG5RY, is a 10-bolt hydraulic PowerShift PTO designed for Allison transmissions. Continuous torque capacity for the 871 Series reaches up to 670 lb-ft (908 N-m), with no derating required for continuous-duty applications. Nine speed ratios and thirteen output options give this unit broad application flexibility across fire and rescue, refuse, pumper/cleaner, and truck crane installations. The ductile iron bearing cap is 117% stronger than gray iron, and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap reduces vibrational effects and improves clamp load. Optional Wet Spline, SmartStart, and Quiet Gear configurations are available within the 871 Series. The 871 Series replaces the earlier Chelsea 870 Series PTO.
